Rugby Club CERN – Meyrin – Saint-Genis

The sun came out again for our game this saturday against Neuchâtel. We started very well, going 12-0 up within the first ten minutes. Neuchâtel then came back with some excelent defending. The score stayed put into the second half, when Neuchâtel kicked a penalty, their only points in the game. We defended our line with intensity, and ended up using all our subs. We got back into the swing of things with another two tries, the last one coming in the last 2 minutes, a well crafted move with the ball passing through a number of hands before Frank the Tank scored in the corner. This score was synonymous with a bonus point.

Le soleil est sorti pour notre match contre Neuchâtel ce samedi. Nous avons bien entamé le match en marquant deux essais dans les 10 premières minutes. Neuchâtel sont ensuite revenus avec une excellente défense. Le score était pareil à la mi-temps, puis en début de 2ème Neuchâtel passa une pénalité, leurs seuls points du match. Nous défendions notre ligne avec ténacité, et finirent par utiliser tous nos remplaçants. On retrouva ensuite le droit chemin avec 2 essais, le dernier venant dans les 2 dernières minutes, une elle action ou la balle passa entre plusieurs mains avant que Frank aplatisse en coin (synonyme de point de bonus).
