Men’s teams
Want to play ?
Everyone welcome from seasoned internationals, club players, to beginners wishing to learn.
If your already here or thinking of moving to the Pays de Gex or Geneva area soon fill in the form, tell us about yourself, what your looking for and we’ll get in touch.
Some question we usually get asked re: jobs, housing, pay and settling in :
- Jobs are hard to come by in the Geneva area and the current business climate makes it even worse. However, a few players from the southern hemisphere have settled over the past three years and have made it work, finding work with our help, and getting settled in. Others have just played here for a few months whilst just on their tour of Europe, and then moved on. Would you consider any type of work just to get some beer money or are you looking for a career in international banking? Let us know what you’re interested in and what you’d be prepared to do.
- We cannot in anyway guarantee jobs but RC CERN are willing to help people scout. the local market for themselves.
- RC CMSG is an amateur club playing in the 1st Division of Swiss rugby. The level is not of the of 1st division club level rugby in the UK or France, but it is though still very competitive, although we’re glad to say the drinking and the social life is certainly of a senior standard.
- We are not at this present time able to pay players, but this may change.
- The club’s got a great social spirit and is a real expatriate mixture of French, Brits, Irish, Swiss, Italians with a few Kiwis and Aussies thrown in. Due to the expat nature, it’s a great place to meet people, and usually any problems in the area, can be resolved quickly by one of the members.
To finish, we work on the basis, that we have to be straight up with anyone who is thinking of coming over. When all’s said and done, we are a rugby club like most others and will turn hoops to get good players in our shirts. Tell us a bit more about yourself and we’ll take it from there.

Follow the main road to the french border & cross it… Keep walking for 10 min, the pitch is on your right !
