Rugby Club CERN – Meyrin – Saint-Genis

The 2007/8 season for the women’s teams in Switzerland includes 3 7’s tournaments. The first took place in October 2007 in Zurich, the 2nd is being hosted by the Wildcats of RC CMSG in Meyrin on the 29th March 2008 and the 3rd and final tournament will be on th 31st of May 2008 in Lucerne. As we’re the hosts of the 2nd tournament, we’ve decided to make a real day of it. We have Lugano joining us all for the first time as a newly formed team and the Nyon Mermaids (also newly formed) are coming along as well to give a Touch Rugby demonstration in addition to all the 7-a-side games. Moreover, the mens team of RC CMSG are playing a league game afterwards against RC Chaux-le-Fonds, so there’ll be plenty of rugby for everyone. We will have food and drink available and also the chance to win some great prizes in our raffle. Once all the matches are completed, we’ll be making our way to our sponsor’s bar Da Vinci for some after tournament partying!

Le premier a eu lieu en octobre 2007 à Zurich, le 2ème serait accueilli par les Wildcats du RC CMSG à Meyrin le 29 mars 2008 et le 3ème prendra lieu le 31 mai 2008 à Lucerne. Etant les hotesses du 2ème tournoi, on a décidé de créer un veritable experience de la journée. On a pour la première fois Lugano (une équipe récemment établie) qui nous rejoind et aussi les Sirenes de Nyon (aussi récemment établi) qui vient nous presenter une exposition de rugby de touche en supplement de tous les match à 7. D’ailleurs, les hommes du RC CMSG jouent un match du championnat apres à 16:00 contre le RC Chaux-le-Fonds, donc il y aura une abondance de rugby. Nous aurons les boissons et les snacks en vente, ainsi que l’opportunité de gagner de lots superbs dans notre tirage au sort. Une fois tous les matchs terminés on se rend au bar de notre sponsor, Da Vinci, pour la fête.
